Wastewater Treatment Plant

In 2008 Fred Robyns, Wastewater Plant Operations Superintendant was a First Place Winner Safety and Environmental Achievement Award for an individual.

In 2007 the Southern Ute Utilities Division received the National Clean Water Act Recognition Award for the operation and maintenance of a small advanced waste-water treatment facility.

From 1997 through 2008 the Southern Ute Utilities Division received the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association, Inc. 11 year award for Outstanding Safety Record.

In 2001 the Southern Ute Utilities Division Second Place USEPA Operations and Excellence Award for Region 8, Small Advanced Category.

In 2001 the Southern Ute Utilities Division received the Rocky Mountain Water Environmental Association Biosolids Management Merit Award.

In 2001 the Southern Ute Utilities Division received the American Water Works Association Award for Excellence in Compliance.

The Southern Ute Utilities Division has also received the American Water Works Association Award of Excellence for Superior Safety Record.
